Decided to switch the roles and have Casimir be the merperson and Diana could be the wayward princess looking to escape her role. I tried out a new color style and am digging the results. <3 Making these illustrations really give me a chance to try new things and draw strange AU ideas.
Meanwhile Casimir and Diana in the real comic are very slowly moving towards some intense romantic gazing, I promise.
